
Biography
Susan Lindemann is an instrumentalist from the United States. Raised in Manchester, Connecticut, she began her musical journey with the cello at age 9. By the time she was 13, she was actively studying the Cello, Piano and Bagpipes. Susan began to compete with the Manchester Pipe Band throughout the US Northeast, while simultaneously immersing herself in the orchestral world. In 2022, she was admitted to the School of Music at the University of South Florida, and graduated in 2025 with a Bachelors degree in Cello Performance. She incorporated Jazz piano into her studies, and performed in the Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, and various chamber settings. Susan has directed and organized a variety of projects including the “USF Video Game Ensemble” and an interdisciplinary dance collaboration named “To Play: A Conversation”. She has toured in Honduras with the Collective Chamber Orchestra, an international ensemble featuring musicians from around the world. Susan teaches cello classes and private lessons in the Tampa area, and performs at a variety of events as a cellist and bagpiper.
Performance
Susan is an avid performer, with experience in a variety of genres and performance settings. As a cellist, she has played in recital halls, outdoor Jazz Festivals, and in specialized recording studios. As a bagpiper, she has competed in Highland Competitions throughout the Northeast and Southern regions of the United States, and performed with notable artists such as the Piano Guys.
